Course overview

Develop Life's compelling Train the Trainer programme will set a new or inexperienced training team up to win. Consisting of a number of core modules, the course can be customised to suit the needs of trainers who will be engaged in design or delivery of either process/systems training courses or interpersonal/communication skills programmes.

We understand that to achieve success for your business, we must assess delegates' skills through their delivery of elements of your own training material. This assessment is built into the course to ensure that we enable your trainers to be ready to "go live" as soon as they complete.

Course aim

To enable your trainers to develop a consistent approach in order to meet a variety of your business training requirements. In doing this, they will be aware of training theory, best practice and the key methodologies that will help them to bring learning to life for their delegates and thus ensure success for themselves and your business.

• Understand their current skill level and identify the skill requirements to be an effective trainer
• Share and understand learning experiences
• Understand different learning styles and how they need to adapt to engage with all learning styles
• Understand how adult learning differs from learning as a child
• Recognise their personal drivers
• Understand Kolb’s learning cycle and the training cycle
• Conduct a training needs analysis (TNA)
• Design training around SMART objectives
• Understand the role of the trainer
